Plebis S. Johannes de Ballatorio, this is the original name, then abbreviated as “Pieve”, was born in Tuscany, between the hills of Maremma and Mount Amiata. Built and used as a monastery around 800 AD. On the original structure of this Antica Pieve has developed the Agriturismo, recently renovated and enriched with elegance and modernity with a balanced game of styles and contrasts necessary to enhance its deep historical and rural roots. Fattoria la Pieve is also an evocative compendium of olive groves and cultivated vineyards, colorful woods and soft hills, protagonists of a wide and joyful view only dammed by the Tyrrhenian Sea in the distance that defines its depth.
